sarah and matt e-session

Friday, June 27, 2008

We had such a blast with Sarah and Matt on their e-session! We were lucky enough to have their son Austin tag along with us. Austin was not too sure at first but he warmed up to us after a bit. Per usual Stick was the favorite=)

Thanks again to everyone! We are looking forward to the big day in August!

michelle, senior 2009

Thursday, June 19, 2008

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle's senior session. She is one of my first seniors from Parkway High School and I am so thrilled that she contacted us! We were a bit worried about the weather but it ended up to be an absolutely gorgeous day! I would have to say at first glance it was very obvious that Michelle's favorite colors are blue and pink, which she looks so amazing in! And much to my delight she brought along her awesome prom dress! This beauty was such a delight to photograph!

Thanks so much Michelle! I had such a fun late afternoon with you and your mom!

colinda and dave's wedding at lincoln ridge

Wednesday, June 18, 2008

The night before Colinda and Dave's wedding a storm swept through the area taking the tent and dance floor with it. Luckily the people at Lincoln Ridge Farms were able to recover everything and Colinda and Dave had an absolutely gorgeous day! Storms always seem to be followed by beautiful days and that was definitely the case for this one. As the ceremony progressed the sun came out and slowly set into a beautiful evening. Colinda had chosen beautiful colors to compliment the setting for the wedding.

The bride's beautiful flowers.

Colinda had this radiant smile pretty much the entire day.

Stealing a hug from the groom, aka dad.

Dave's nephew Tyler was quite the character.

Lots of tears and hugs after the ceremony.

They had scrolls setting on each table for people to sign. Tyler's we definitely our favorite.

Lincoln Ridge is surrounded by crop fields but there was also one made of wild flowers, which we loved.

The girls were a blast, so much fun for us to photograph!

A few images of the newlyweds.

Thank you so much Colinda and Dave for allowing us to document the style of your day! We hope that you had a wonderful time on your honeymoon!!!

libby and kevin's e-session

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Libby and Kevin's e-session was adventurous, to say the least. We started at Libby's parents house in the country. They have great barns and grain bins. Libby's father has an awesome workshop that we just had to use for some images. After exploring the property we decided to go to the very small downtown of Venedocia, OH. Right when we were wrapping up the tornado sirens went off!!! Now for those of you who know me know that I am not a big fan of tornadoes, so we decided to travel back to Libby's parents home with the best protection, a basement. Although we did not witness any tornadoes we did see a pretty cool storm and even a double rainbow! It was definitely an e-session to remember!

Thanks again Libby and Kevin! We are looking forward to your wedding in November!

the dunnigan family

Saturday, June 14, 2008

Last week we met up with the Dunnigans for a family session. We have never photographed a family with all teens for children so we were pretty excited about the possibilities for this session. The Dunnigans were so great and loads of laughs to work with! Teenagers definitely add an element of personality that is fun to capture.

Thanks again Dunnigans! Looking forward to seeing you in the Fall for Jordyn's senior session!

emily, senior 2009

Friday, June 13, 2008

Let the 2009 senior season begin! I love photographing seniors so of course I was very excited to shoot Emily's senior session. I have known Emily for quite sometime being that she is a family friend of Sticky. We met up in downtown St Marys for this one, which I do not shoot in often so it was nice to walk around and find some cool spots. Emily did such a great job. She was the perfect model to start the season of with=)

Thanks again Emily!

jaxon and briggs

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Our good friends, Johanna and Brandon, once again let us photograph their handsome little guys. Johanna and the boys met up with us one morning last week. What is so amazing about Johanna is that she is very laid back. She lets the boys do their own thing and really does not put any pressure at all on them. This truly allows for their personality to shine, as opposed to looking uncomfortable and terrified, lol! Sticky and I love hanging out with these lil' men and we can't wait to do it again!

We started off with Jaxon, Stick's new buddy.

Briggs (on the right) is the serious one and Jaxon is more of the clown, lol!

Some brotherly love.

Thank you so much Jaxon and Briggs! We cannot wait to hang out with you guys again! Stay tuned for a very special shoot with their parents soon!!!

meagan and joe married in decatur, reception at the embassy theatre (fort wayne, in)

Monday, June 9, 2008

Meagan and Joe had a gorgeous wedding the last weekend of May in Indiana! We started the day off in Decatur in a beautiful old catholic church and then headed to Fort Wayne for a regal reception at The Embassy Theatre. This was our first time shooting at the Embassy, which was very exciting to say the least.

The girls enjoying a laugh before the ceremony.

The men.

Meagan's reaction to their name on the marquee!

Entering their reception.

Thanks again Meagan and Joe! It was such an honor to capture your gorgeous and joyful day!
