About a week ago we met up with the Campbell family for a photo shoot. Their little boy Conner was such a hoot. Sticky and I definitely got a much needed workout b/c this guys was on the move. We were able to tame him a bit with ice cream from the local parlor though. His parents were so great as well, very laid back and into any ideas. Thank you so much for the awesome shoot Campbells!!

lauren and ryan e-session
Thursday, April 24, 2008
E-sessions are truly such a blast to photograph. Lauren and Ryan arrived on a cold morning with huge smiles on their faces. This was our first meeting face to face and we knew right off the bat that this was going to be fun. As you can see these two look incredibly good together. We were cracking up b/c I asked Ryan if anyone ever told him that he kind of looks like Joey Fatone from the group 'N Sync (except much better looking). He has been told that before so the next question was if he is Greek, which he is not but he could definitely pass for it. They are both so gorgeous with their dark hair and big eyes. Truly was an awesome session! We are so looking forward to their wedding in August!

mr. alex
Wednesday, April 23, 2008
For those of you who are loyal brandy j blog followers you will recognize this little man from previous shoots. This was our 4th shoot with the little man but it was our 1st one outside. It was a tad cold and windy that day but Alex did great! Per usual his Mom and babysitter Lexi came along to help us make the little guy comfortable. We made faces, jiggled keys and even endured a swinging stick, LOL!! It is always so much fun to photograph Alex! Can't wait till the next time=)

crummey family
Monday, April 21, 2008
We are back from a wonderful wedding in Orlando (which we will be blogging soon) and are just now starting to get caught up on our blogging! Sorry about the lack of posts. We have plenty to put up so be sure to check out the blog regularly!
To start us off is the Crummey family. They are one of our wonderful Van Wert families. We met them at their home and then walked to a local business which has beautiful landscaping. It was one of the rare nice days we had earlier this month. Their daughter, Meredith, was such a delight to work with and of course we loved their yellow lab!

liz and david morning e-session in toledo, oh
Tuesday, April 8, 2008
We ventured up to Toledo. OH this past Sunday for Liz and David's E-session. I love shooting in the morning, especially e-sessions. We were so thrilled when they were up for the morning shoot! Toledo's downtown has a lot of new buildings mixed with some very old sort of rundown buildings. It is actually a terrific place to shoot, loads of options everywhere you turn. And the only thing better than a great location is great subjects and Liz and David definitely fit the bill. These two are such a sweet couple. They have been together for a very long time so they pretty much know what the other is thinking without saying a word, so cute=)
Thank you so much Liz and David! We are even more excited for your wedding this coming July=)

molli and mike e-session in rainy fort wayne
We have had so many rainy days already this Spring but fortunate for us our clients do not mind! This is our first time meeting Molli and Mike in person and we could not be more happy. They are an extremely laid back couple which always makes for stress-free e-sessions/weddings. The rain was on and off so we utilized the cover that we could find in downtown. Even though we have shot in Fort Wayne before it is always fun to go back b/c it is so much bigger than Van Wert which means there are loads more places to explore=)
Thank you for the great session guys! We are really looking forward to your wedding later this month.

newborn landon
Monday, April 7, 2008
What a thrill it is to photograph such a little person the very first week of their life. Landon was such a fantastic model. A lot of times newborns just kind of sleep but this guy was alert and wanted to know what was going on. We heard just a few whimpers but quite honestly he could not be more of a perfect baby. Plus look how stinking pretty he is!!!
In his Great Grandpa's baby carriage.

emily senior 2008
Miss Emily goes to the same school as Briggs so I kind of had a Crestview week=) She also happens to be a triplet which is quite exciting in and of itself. Her two brothers were not interested in senior pictures so we just did a few with them. After that we went to the library, b/c she practically grew up there, and then on around town. She is such a sweet girl and it was so fun to get to know here. Thank you Emily!

briggs senior 2008
I had a couple of senior sessions this Spring to wrap up the '08 season. One of them was Briggs. I actually have heard his name several times before b/c he is quite the athlete. He is going to play football at Ball State in Indiana next year which is very very cool. Of course we shot some sports stuff but the other cool thing about Briggs is that he is into a lot of other things, one of them being fashion. I have never had a senior bring a three-piece suit unless it was under complete protest. Well Briggs loved his and he looked pretty darn good in it.
Thank you for the awesome shoot Briggs!
