stephanie and brent married on memorial day weekend

Stephanie and Brent had a gorgeous wedding in Lisbon and reception in Salem (both located in NE Ohio). You may recognize this couple from their recent e-session on Kelley's Island. We had the chance to talk about the wedding then and I remember Stephanie saying that her dress and veil were being made. When we arrived we discovered that her bridesmaid dresses were made as well. Wow! That was a very busy seamstress!! The entire day was a blast. And just as we had anticipated Stephanie and Brent were a joy to work with and so much fun to photograph!

sara and dusty's e-session

What a great time we had with Sara and Dusty last week for their e-session! We have been lucky enough to get to know these guys a little in past weddings they have either attended or been in. It was nice however to talk about their own wedding and what kind of plans they have going on. We joked about how many sessions we have to shoot in Celina and somehow we always find a different spot. It is amazing how small towns can hold so many little treasures.

Last week we had the chance to photograph our next door neighbors, the Hougs! It was so great to walk on over and hang out with their two adorable kids, Sofi and Sam. Sofi is very sweet and always on the go. She jumped, ran and told loads of stories. I love who she is full of so much adventure. And Sam is just so laid back and calm. We could tell that he was studying everything he was looking at. The whole family welcomed us to hangout in their playroom and then onto the backyard.

kristin and marc's e-session in cincinnati, oh

A little over a week ago we woke up very early on a Sunday morning to drive down and photograph Kristin and Marc's e-session in Cincinnati. We were more than happy to do this b/c after the session we headed to Great American Ballpark for a Reds game=) But despite the fact that we had the chance to go to a ballgame (they won!) these two definitely made the drive worth it all on their own. They live in a really cool neighborhood of Cincinnati call Hyde Park and have the most beautiful little golden doodle name Izzy. Stick and I had always thought that if we moved to another town in Ohio it would be Columbus but these two definitely showed us a part of The Queen City that would not be bad to live in. It was such a fun morning and we are so looking forward to their wedding in December!

miss lexi at three

A little over a week ago we had the honor of photographing our little niece Lexi. It is hard to believe that she is already 3 years old! Before we know it she will be on her way to school and chatting on the phone with her friends. What I love most about Lexi is that she is girlie through and through. She loves make-up, dresses and my personal favorite SHOES!!! We absolutely love shopping for outfits for our little nieces and nephews. The dress that she is wearing was an early gift from us that we picked up in Orlando.

angie and justin's wedding

What a blast it was to photography Angie and Justin's wedding. We saw so many of the same crowd from the Erin and Brian's wedding (just a week before this one) and per usual they made us feel like part of the gang. I know that Angie and Justin have been looking forward to this day fer a very long time. It truly could not have been a more beautiful of a day, I am pretty sure it went just how they had hoped it would.

erin and brian's may wedding

Erin and Brian had a gorgeous wedding the second weekend of May. We started the day in the school across the street from the church, which luckily for us had some fun pockets of light we could shoot in. After the ceremony we had a blast at their reception in Rockford. Both Erin and Brian's families were a joy to work with, we especially had a good time with Erin's nieces! And very similar to the wonderful wedding we shot this past weekend (which we will be blogging soon) there were many of our clients/friends either in the wedding party or there as guests. This particular circle of friends have been our clients for the past 2 years and we could not be more thrilled to be invited back again and again.
